Group Lessons at Plantation Heritage Park

Imagine teaching your dog basic commands sit, down, come, stay, and heel to the beat of your favorite tunes from the 80’s and theme songs from your favorite movies and tv shows. We will address problem behaviors like jumping up, leash pulling, and play biting. Our positive, reward based program is a great bonding experience for you and your dog in a lovely shady setting at Plantation Heritage Park. Join us on Saturday mornings for more fun than humans should be allowed!  

Classes run fall through spring.  The next class is scheduled to meet September 11, 2010 at 9am.  Classes will be held every Saturday after that at 9am for 5 more consecutive weeks. This lovely setting is an ideal place to bond with your dog on Saturday mornings.  This 6 week program covers basic dog obedience commands: sit, stay, down, come, walking on a leash, and greetings.  The cost is $110 per dog and there must be at least one adult handler per dog.  The $110 fee does not include the park entrance fee of $1.50 per person per lesson.  The dog student must be at least 5 months of age and have a current Broward (or Dade) County Rabies tag.  Handler must be at least 14 years old.  Any handlers between the ages of 14 and 18 years old must be accompanied by the same parent for every class.  No aggressive dogs please.

What to bring on the first day of class: the dog student, a nylon buckle collar, a six foot leash (no retractable leashes), and a bag of favorite treats cut or broken into small pieces.  We will meet in the parking lot by the park management office.
