DogSmarts: Broward Regional Library Tuesday, May 14, 6pm-7:00pm 8601 W. Broward Blvd., Plantation, FL 33324 Learn how to raise a healthy, well behaved canine family member during this one hour seminar. Solutions to common behavior issues and how to avoid them will be presented by Dawn Hanna, a Certified Professional Dog Trainer. PLEASE NOTE: This seminar is for people only. Please kindly leave pups at home.

Food Truck Invasion at Plantation Heritage Park Tuesdays, 5:30-9:30pm Finally, Plantation gets their very own weekly food truck night. That's right every Tuesday night they'll have food trucks lining up at Plantation Heritage Park. Come enjoy gourmet food from a variety of popular food trucks. Bring the entire family because it is fun for all. There's a DJ playing your favorite tunes and there is a playground for the kids. Well behaved dogs on a six foot leash are welcome.







Dog Beach of Hollywood (DBOH) Buy a one visit pass ($5 resident $10 non-resident) or a 6 month unlimited pass ($30 resident $125 non resident) from the ranger at the beach (cash or personal checks) the first two weekends. You must show proof of residency to obtain the resident rate (driver's license or utility bill). Passes can also be purchased now or after Nov. 11th from Hollywood Parks and Recreation at 1504 S 28th Ave from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. It is a City Ordinance that you are required to pick up your dog's waste. You can be fined for not doing so, and failure to keep the dog beach clean will put an end to a dog beach in Hollywood.
