Mutts and Martinis

Mutts and Martinis Yappy Hour, Fort Lauderdale’s largest outdoor, pet-friendly cocktail hour. The goal of the event is to bring together the Downtown community and their favorite four-legged friends for a night of celebration and networking while raising funds for the Riverwalk Trust. On this fun evening along Fort Lauderdale’s Riverwalk, a $25 donation ($20 prepay online) gives attendees two complimentary drinks, appetizers, live music, live radio broadcasts chances to win raffles and prizes and lots of fun activities for their pets including dog massages, caricatures and a canine contests. Dog adoptions, and a portion of the proceeds from each ticket sold will go towards the Humane Society of Broward County. Husky Fundraiser at America's Backyard

September 23 6-9pm

200 W. Broward Blvd., Fort Lauderdale

Party with the huskies!  $10 donation includes the following: two free drinks, free snack buffet, and two-for-one drinks until 9 p.m. There will be raffles as well as their usual donation items. K9 Water Festivals this Fall

Saturday, October 23 - Sunday, October 24:

Quiet Waters Park, Deerfield Beach.
 

Fee is $5 per dog for a 50-minute session.

Calling all small dogs! At the request of dog moms and dads with pets 25 pounds or less, the last session of every day will be for small dogs only! So if you want your small dog to only mix with other small dogs, the session for you starts at 4 p.m. and ends at 4:50 p.m. - No large dogs will be allowed in this session.
Here are the rules for the event:
•All dogs must be off leash when inside the facility and will be free to play in the water park.
•Dogs must be sociable and well behaved.
•Dogs must have proof of current rabies vaccination and county license tag.
•Water playgrounds will be closed to humans and open only for dogs (and lifeguards).
•All dogs are limited to no more than two sessions per day.
As we do every year, donations of dog and cat food, treats, blankets, and cash will be accepted for the homeless animals at the Broward County shelters.

Dog Beach of Hollywood (DBOH)
Buy a one visit pass ($5 resident $10 non-resident) or a 6 month unlimited pass ($30 resident $125 non resident) from the ranger at the beach (cash or personal checks) the first two weekends. You must show proof of residency to obtain the resident rate (driver's license or utility bill). Passes can also be purchased now or after Nov. 11th from Hollywood Parks and Recreation at 1504 S 28th Ave from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. It is a City Ordinance that you are required to pick up your dog's waste. You can be fined for not doing so, and failure to keep the dog beach clean will put an end to a dog beach in Hollywood. Walk for the Animals
