Obedience Training
We recognize every dog and family situation to be unique. We devise a training program for each dog and handler that fits their individual situation. Our training methods are based on motivational principles. Our goal is to motivate the dog to learn and perform, to build confidence in both the dog and the handler through success with humane, consistent interactive training. Our knowledge of animal behavior and experience allow us to shape the dog’s behavior and enlist their willing participation in the training process. We offer on leash and off leash programs.

Behavior Modification
We will carefully assess your dog’s temperament and your needs. We can stop unwanted behavior by conditioning appropriate behavior. We have helped dogs with behavioral problems like aggression, shyness, hyperactivity, and separation anxiety.

Puppy Programs
Giving your puppy the opportunity to socialize and learn about new experiences in a safe environment is important in guiding your puppy to be a well behaved dog. Many bad behaviors can be prevented by teaching your puppy housebreaking, appropriate playing, and handling. Start your puppy in the right direction and avoid many of the problems he may otherwise develop.

Executive Program
The executive program is designed for people that would prefer that the dog is trained in the home while they are not there. Their participation is required at the end of the training.  This program is designed to help dogs learn the basics: sit, down, come, stay, and walking on a leash.

Group Basic Obedience: Plantation Heritage Park
Oh Behave™ offers group basic obedience lessons in Plantation Heritage Park on Saturday mornings.  This lovely setting is an ideal place to bond with your dog and learn.  Saturday morning classes are offered fall through spring.  Click here for more information.

APDT Canine Life and Social Skills (C.L.A.S.S.): Plantation Heritage Park
C.L.A.S.S. is based on using fun games and exercises to test and develop real life skills and manners for dogs.  At the K9 BA level, Students will practice skills including wait at the door, recall, loose leash walking and attention, greetings, leave it, waiting for a food bowl, stay, settle, give and take, and tricks.  Saturday morning classes are offered fall through spring.  Click here for more information.

K9 Fun Nosework: Plantation Heritage Park
Wouldn’t it be great if your dog could find your keys? Dogs have an amazing sense of smell and a natural desire to hunt. This class focuses on teaching you how to encourage and develop your dog’s natural scenting abilities by using their desire to hunt and their love of toys, food and exercise. It’s a great class for your dog to have fun, build confidence, and burn lots of mental and physical energy.  Click here for more information.

Rally for Fun: Plantation Heritage Park
Rally is a fun and exciting team sport for dogs and their handlers!  Dog and Handler teams navigate a course with numbered signs indicating different exercises to perform such as Sit-Down-Sit, Straight Figure 8, Send Over Jump, Recall Over Jump. Teams navigate the course at a brisk, continuous performance without direction from the judge. Handlers are encouraged to talk to their dogs during the performance.  Click here for more information.

Teaching Tricks: Plantation Heritage Park
Bring our your dog's inner star! Teaching tricks is fun for owners and also helps to mentally stimulate your dog’s brain. Tricks are also a great way to build your dog’s confidence and can help the human/canine bond.
