DOES YOUR DOG HAVE C.L.A.S.S.? APDT Canine Life and Social Skills K9 BA Level Group Classes at Plantation Heritage Park
A new program to provide training and obedience skills for dog owners
was launched this year by The Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT).
The program, aptly named Canine Life and Social Skills (C.L.A.S.S.),
uses positive reinforcement techniques to teach proper behavior and
manners, enabling pet owners to take their dogs to public places such as
outdoor patios, hotels and retail stores that allow pets.
The C.L.A.S.S. program
focuses on using positive reinforcement when training to create a
harmonious relationship between dog and owner. For more
information about class, please visit
www.mydoghasclass.com. What to bring on the first day of class: the dog student, collar (no prongs or choke), a six foot leash (no retractable leashes), and a bag of favorite treats cut or broken into small pieces. We will meet in the parking lot by the park management office. Please click below to download the required registration forms and information packet. If you have any questions you may call (954) 587-2711 or email dawnhanna@ohbehavedogtraining.com.
